Sayvion Jones is the Mentoring Program Manager at PYD and is passionate about encouraging positive youth development. Whether it is supporting youth with marginalized identities or combating systems for at-risk youth, Sayvion finds joy in acting as a protective factor for the youth he serves. He is a firm believer that healthy relationships are critical in the overall development of a person.
During his time at Boston College High School, he was recognized for his tireless work focused on Youth Leadership and Advocacy, as well as work in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Initiatives. These efforts continued during his time at Stonehill as he led his peers through programs and events that empower and advocate for marginalized identities.
He holds a BA in Criminology & Sociology from Stonehill College with plans to pursue his master’s in social work. Outside of work, he loves to listen to music, explore the city, watch and talk football, and spend time with family and friends.
