The Rite Aid Foundation’s KidCents program aids 500 nonprofits across the U.S. – including ours.
The foundation’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of our communities and serve as a catalyst for positive change. They particularly focus on underserved and disadvantaged groups in society by providing a sense of belonging in the world, ensuring kids a positive future, and empowering children to follow their dreams.
The Rite Aid Foundation’s KidCents program was created for wellness and rewards members to have the option to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar with the goal in mind to give children bright futures, partnering with local organizations like PYD. The program additionally provides $5,000 in additional grants to all partner charities.
By joining Rite Aid’s KidCents program, it serves as a quick and easy way to support our youth. You can simply make the choice to round up your purchase at any Rite Aid or online store to support us, and the extra cents will go directly back to our mentoring, career readiness, leadership, theater, and inclusion services that benefit our community. Here’s how it’s done:
Step one: Create a wellness + rewards account.
Step two: After logging into your account, enroll in KidCents to begin rounding up each purchase made, and make sure to select PYD as your charity of choice.
