Nancy J. Bazanchuk serves as our Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) Facilitator & Coordinator. Nancy is a longtime PYD mentor and has worked with PYD as a consultant and collaborator for over 15 years as the MHC Springfield Youth Group Facilitator. She served as CHD’s Disability Resources Program Director for over 18 years, and is well known in the Western Mass region and throughout the state for her many accomplishments in the disability community.
Nancy has been a part of the Youth Leadership Forum from the very beginning, participating in the inaugural Massachusetts YLF back in the early 2000s. Nancy won the Brianna Fund Community Service Angel Award last year, and was honored as part of the 17th Annual “Martin Luther King Jr. Benefit Gospel Concert: A Tribute to Gospel” at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Springfield in 2015. She is a lifelong believer in the power of sports to empower youth with disabilities.
