PYD offers an online group mentoring program for young adults with disabilities (ages 18-26) who are interested in career readiness support. This program is open for any postsecondary student with a disability.
Program participants have access to a group of professional mentors, who can offer input and advice on your path from college to employment. Mentors and youth chat and connect regularly online through private messaging and group discussion areas.
Participants also have access to monthly webinars on career readiness topics, like creating a resume, navigating job interviews, handling disability disclosure, and other topics. Through these sessions, young adults can learn more best practices for seeking employment, plus hear from mentors about their lived experiences and perspectives.
Online Mentoring Program Requirements:

- Participants must be attending some form of post-secondary education
- Participants must commit to logging in twice per week for two semesters (8-12 months) to spend time connecting with career mentors
