Party for PYD is now going virtual

Youth and staff gather at 2019's Party for PYD

Have you heard? Partners for Youth with Disabilities will be moving our annual Party for PYD online, and welcomes everyone to join us on June 17, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. for a night of silent auctions, videos from special guests including Mayor Marty Walsh, youth performances, program updates, and more.

With Party for PYD, our goal is to increase the awareness of the power of mentoring and inclusion, celebrate a three-generational mentoring relationship and their family support systems, and emphasize the importance of community during a complicated time.

We are currently planning for our virtual event in a creative, entertaining, and inspiring way. I know that Party for PYD will be that and more with the array of activities for the night showcasing PYD youth, mentors, supporters, and our community in this unique format. It has been a true gift to see how PYD has transitioned all programs online and to experience the new and positive ways we’re supporting our youth. We look forward to sharing that with all of you. -Regina Snowden, Founder and Executive Director

Through this event, we also aim to raise money for the organization and increase funding for our programs, which is something we need now more than ever.

We especially plan to use this chance to recognize our honorees of the night including an inter-generational mentoring relationship that’s had a lasting impact on one another’s lives, TJX Companies, and JobLab Spaulding Cambridge for their dedication to youth with disabilities.
