Summer Yoga at the Frog Pond

Looking to stay in shape during the summer without breaking the bank? The Frog Pond in the Boston Commons is starting their fourth season of FREE Summer Yoga. Every Thursday, starting on June 5th, the Frog Pond welcomes “yogis” of all levels to release stress and expand energy with a talented group of instructors. Each class is held on the lawn adjacent to the Frog Pond Carousel.

Family Ties of Massachusetts

Family Ties of Massachusetts is a statewide parent-to-parent network that provides information and emotional support to families and professionals supporting children with special needs. From a directory of resources to support groups and workshops, Family Ties has a variety of tools for families in the PYD community to feel supported. Check out all their programs on the Mass Family Ties website.

DCR Park Passport

The Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation has launched the Park Passport Program to help kids and families visit the State Parks and facilities. Families can download and print the Park Passport and then collect 76 different stamps from parks all around the state. Once a child has visited all the parks in one region, then he/she can receive a cool t-shirt to show off their accomplishment! Grab your passport and start the adventure today!

Free Fun Fridays

It’s that time of year again! Thanks to the Highland Street Foundation, 66 museums and cultural venues are open for free every Friday during the summer. From the Franklin Park Zoo to the Cape Cod Children’s Museum to the Ecotarium, this program allows for families all over Massachusetts to enjoy a variety of fun activities without breaking the bank all summer long!
