Young Entrepreneurs Project Director
PYD seeks a passionate, articulate, and result-oriented professional with grant-writing, education, and supervision skills to lead its Young Entrepreneurs Project (YEP). The YEP Director is responsible for the administration, management, development, public relations, and oversight of all aspects of YEP. The YEP Director supervises two full-time staff members (including a Program Specialist and VISTA AmeriCorps member), leads the YEP Advisory Committee, collaborates with Boston Public School and Boys and Girls Club personnel at the sites in which the program operates, writes and submits funding proposals, and works with the Executive Director of PYD to further the funding and development of YEP. Additionally, the Program Director will oversee the Replication Initiative, distilling the current curriculum into a marketable product that can be used by youth-serving personnel to independently implement the program at their respective sites.

YEP Curriculum and Development Specialist, AmeriCorps VISTA
PYD seeks a Curriculum and Development Specialist to support the Young Entrepreneurs Project (YEP), a career development program for low-income youth with disabilities that addresses barriers to employment in meaningful and measurable ways. Working with PYD’s upper-level management, the Curriculum and Development Specialist will expand the program’s existing capacity by: molding YEP’s classroom curriculum into a marketable product for nation-wide replication; conducting grant research and grant writing; performing community outreach for enrichment opportunities for program participants.

Mentor Match Ambassador of Mentoring
Mass Mentoring Partnership’s AmeriCorps program, the Highland Street Corps Ambassadors of Mentoring,  is currently recruiting twenty-five Ambassadors for the 2013-2014 program year, which begins on August 1, 2013 and runs through June 30, 2014. Ambassadors complete one year of service at a host organization in Massachusetts. One Ambassador will be placed in Partners for Youth with Disabilities’ Mentor Match Program. To address key areas of capacity development, the Ambassador’s project at PYD will focus within the areas of mentor/mentee training, mentor recruitment/marketing, and match support.
