Mary is a Career Readiness Program Coordinator at PYD. Prior to PYD, she worked in Harvard Square supporting unstably housed young adults to meet their needs and goals and develop tools like self-advocacy, healthy relationships, self-confidence, leadership development and public speaking skills.
She brings experience teaching adults and young adults learning English as a second language in Maine, Massachusetts and Spain. She spent a year in Seattle, WA as a Quaker service member to provide intakes and application support for community members seeking immigration legal aid. Mary values community-building and the importance of creating inclusive environments that welcome and encourage people to excel and thrive as their most authentic selves. She’s excited to be part of PYD and the Career Readiness team to continue this work!
