Carl-Olivier Sidney joined Partners for Youth with Disabilities (PYD) in the summer of 2021 as their Youth Leadership Program manager. In this role, Carl is responsible for the successful delivery of PYD’s summer youth leadership programs. In this pilot year, Carl planned and executed on Massachusetts Youth Leadership Forum (YLF) and the Young Leaders Rising (YLR), where he coordinated all aspects of virtual programming, including managing Leadership Fellows. Carl will continue to cultivate new and existing partners to support year-round youth services.
Carl is currently enrolled in the graduate MBA program at UMass Boston. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the university. Carl has a passion for helping young people achieve their personal, educational, and career goals. Over the last six years, Carl has worked with youth with disabilities in various roles, most recently as Transition Coordinator at Hopewell, Inc.
Carl is excited about creating meaningful change in his community and ensuring that young people with disabilities have access to opportunities to succeed.
