The vision of Partners for Youth with Disabilities' National Center for Mentoring Youth with Disabilities is that youth with disabilities across the nation are able to achieve full access, belonging, and meaningful participation in mentoring and youth programs that ultimately contribute to a fulfilling, independent adult life.

Melanie & Kaela, two National Center Staff PYD's National Center offers training and technical assistance to youth-serving organizations interested in replicating PYD's time-tested mentoring programs or in making existing programs more inclusive of youth with disabilities.

Because PYD has created and implemented a variety of successful mentoring and other programs for youth with disabilities since 1985, National Center’s trainings are based on over 25 years of best practices. We are constantly adapting our trainings to reflect the valuable experiences and knowledge we gain through our programs.
