Access to Theatre Success Story

ATT performs a movement piece At the very beginning of the Access to Theatre program, a young woman told an artist that she did not want to be in a program with people with disabilities but was interested in theatre. Since then, this same young woman has participated in our program for eight years. She has developed her skills as an actress, performed in ten productions and become a peer leader, teaching assistant and mentor to novice group members. Currently, she is attending college and teaching improvisation in an after-school theatre program.
