If remote trainings aren't your thing, we also provide in-person training!
As with our remote trainings, all sessions involve audience participation and are designed in accordance with the principles of Universal Design for Learning. Staff are guaranteed to leave each session with concrete takeaways that they can use to make immediate improvements in inclusion practices.
Our trainers have years of experience in direct service work, and can relate first-hand with the challenges faced by trainees. We've been on this road before and know the twists, bumps, and potholes to expect; we're here to give you the map so you can navigate with ease.
Available topics include:
Inclusion 101: Expanding access and inclusion for youth with disabilities
Strategies to support youth with hidden disabilities
Inclusive outreach and marketing
Understanding autism spectrum disorder
Inclusive communication and disability etiquette
If there is a topic you'd like us to cover but you don't see on the above list, ask and we'll let you know what we can do!
