Dan Ellerman, Northrop Grumman

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the National Disability Mentoring Coalition has named 25 outstanding leaders as the first inductees into the Susan M. Daniels Disability Mentoring Hall of Fame. These inductees were selected for their demonstrated commitment to mentoring and for the impact of their contributions on improving the lives of people with disabilities.

As the Director for Diversity and Inclusion with Northrop Grumman, Dan’s focus is developing and executing programs that support the company’s D&I strategy. The strategy is focused on attracting diverse talent, developing leadership capability, and increasing workplace inclusion and employee engagement. This includes aligning D&I priorities with business objectives; supporting the company’s 14 ERG’s; designing the company’s D&I education framework; and providing guidance to HR and business organizations on issues related to diversity and Inclusion and overall workplace effectiveness.

Dan is a certified Senior Human Resource Professional (SPHR) by the HRCI and holds a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the University of Maryland University College. Dan has more than 13 years of HR experience and has held various roles in HR, including Learning and Development, HR Generalist, Employee and Labor Relations, EEO/AA Compliance, and Diversity and Inclusion. He also serves as a Corporate Advisory Board member for the USBLN and as a Board Member for the DC MetroBLN.
