						How to Join Partners Online Community Adults: Apply to be a Mentor You will be matched to a youth with a similar disability or career interest, or you may become a Partners Online Group mentor. We ask that you commit 1-2 hours per week and if matched, chat or exchange emails 1-2 times per week and meet in person at least 3 times per year. Youth: Apply to be participate in group mentoring program Partners Online enables you to correspond with a mentor and enables you to connect with peers and other mentors for advice and support through discussion forums and group chat. To apply as a POL Youth you need to: Fill out and submit the Partners Online Youth Group Mentoring Application. Note: If already a PYD member in another program, you may bypass the application and skip to #2. Read and submit the Registration Agreement Terms Fill out and submit the Account Preferences and Profile page on the POL site After completing the following 3 step process you will receive an activation notice within 3 business days. Then you are ready to log on and enjoy POL! Parents: Apply to join the Online Parent Group Parents can connect with other parents via discussion forums and group chat on a wide range of topics and issues focused on helping their child achieve increased confidence and independence. To apply as a POL parent you need to: Fill out and submit the Partners Online Parent Group Mentoring Application. Note: If already a PYD member in another program, you may bypass the application and skip to #2. Read and submit the Registration Agreement Terms Fill out and submit the Account Preferences and Profile page on the POL site After completing the following 3 step process you will receive an activation notice within 3 business days.
